RESEARCH INFORMATION: My work involves the development of new types of optical microscopy by employing non-linear contrast mechanisms. We are building simultaneous detection second- and third-harmonic generation and multi-photon excitation fluorescence microscope. The far-field microscope is combined with near-field scanning probe and atomic force microscope.
