First Artists of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam as translated by Edward FitzGerald is arguably one of the words most adored books of poetry. It is also one of the most illustrated. Starting in 1884 artists began to illustrate the verses and decorate the publicly available books they contained.
