Sally Abdallah – MSc student
Sally completed her Bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and will be pursuing a Master’s degree in the Senatore lab. Her research focuses on voltage-gated calcium channels in the basal animal Trichoplax Adhaerens. Sally enjoys good food, hanging out with family and friends, and cooking.
Yuen Yan Wong – MSc student
Yan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto St. George Campus, and will be pursuing a Master’s degree in the Senatore lab. She loves neuroscience, and her research will focus on comparing nervous system gene homologues from Trichoplax adhaerens with genes from humans and other well-studied animal model systems. She enjoys drawing, learning Japanese and playing the guitar. Her favorite quotation is:
