Bio

I started learning piano at the age of 5 and eventually passed the Grade 10 examination at the Royal Conservatory of Music. I played in various rock bands throughout from the age of 17 to my early 30s (The Dishes, The Everglades, TBA, Martha and the Muffins).

As an adult, I composed music for film and TV, including the theme song for the children's TV program The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon. In 1994, I was nominated for a Genie Award under the category of Best Original Song for Just Like Scheherazade, a song I composed for the film Zero Patience (written and directed by John Greyson).
