Soo Min Toh is an Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a cross-appointment to the Organizational Behaviour and HR Management area at Rotman. She was Professorial Fellow at the University of Edinburgh Business School and visiting professor at the University of Goettingen.
Soo Min’s research program focuses on understanding knowledge transfer between groups, expatriate management and the workplace experiences immigrant professionals. Her work involves studying companies and employees around the world, as well as community-based research working with not-for-profit organizations. Her research has been published in premier academic and practitioner journals in the disciplines of management and psychology, such as the Academy of Management Review, the Journal of Applied Psychology, and Psychological Science. Soo Min also has co-edited books on global mobility and teaching social sustainability, and is frequently featured in the media. She has servesd on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of World Business, and the Journal of International Business Studies.
Soo Min was Director of the Institute for Management & Innovation at the University of Toronto Mississauga where she led an interdisciplinary research and teaching agenda. In addition to courses at the University of Toronto and numerous academic and corporate speaking engagements, Soo Min has taught in undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs in universities around the world, including Iceland, Germany, US, and the UK.
